Elizabeth......Elizabeth......Elizabeth, will you marry me? Those were the words of Macho Man Randy Savage on July 6, 1991 as he proposed to Miss Elizabeth on WWF Superstars.

After losing the "Loser Must Retire" match at WrestleMania VII, Randy Savage may have temporarily lost his career but he regained his treasured relationship with Miss Elizabeth. During his time away from the ring, Randy joined Roddy Piper and Vince McMahon in the broadcast booth for WWF Superstars. Elizabeth on the other hand, remained somewhat out of the spotlight.

Things soon began to change, however, as Elizabeth began popping up in interviews saying she loved Randy and hinting at marriage. Finally, Roddy Piper and Vince McMahon told Randy that it was time for him to propose to her. And that's exactly what he did. A wedding between the first couple of the WWF could be no simple affair and Randy knew this. He proposed to Elizabeth and they set August 26, 1991 as the date of their marriage in the middle of the ring at SummerSlam 1991. The union was quickly dubbed the "Match Made in Heaven".
