On this episode of WWF Superstars, Randy and Elizabeth made a rare appearance on Piper's Pit. At the time, Randy was the WWF Intercontinental Champion and was tangled in a nasty feud with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. The purpose of this visit was to put over the feud and to build toward the now infamous match at WrestleMania III.
