At this taping of WWF Challenge, World Champion Hulk Hogan defended his title against Macho Man Randy Savage in a dark match.

The match itself was your typical Hogan/Savage affair. Lots of back and forth action. There were a couple of points during the match where Savage was thrown to the outside of the ring. During the first occassion, in typical Macho Man fashion, Randy grabbed Elizabeth and placed her between himself and the Hulkster. On the second occassion, with Savage out on the floor, Liz put herself between the two men. Having had enough, Hogan grabbed Elizabeth by the arms and moved her out of the way. Perhaps the more memorable moment, however, came towards the end of the match. With Hogan in trouble on the outside of the ring, Randy Savage decided to grab a chair and finish the champ off. Just as he was about to strike, Elizabeth ran up and grabbed the chair out of Savage's hands. Elizabeth knew if Savage was disqualified, he would not win the title. This move infuriated Savage and he was quick to put his finger in Liz's face. Having had enough, Liz swatted down Savage's hand and put HER finger in HIS face! Unfortunately, this disagreement was all Hogan needed to recover and he made quick work of Savage for the victory.
