In October 1988 Randy really had a big challenge to face in the form of Akeem who was once known as One Man Gang. This was one of the first meetings Randy had with Akeem who he later feuded with as part of The Mega Powers with Hulk Hogan and Akeem was a part of The Twin Towers with The Big Bossman.

Elizabeth was at ringside in this championship match against Akeem usually Slick was at ringside with Akeem, but shockingly he wasn't there so Elizabeth didn't have to deal with him bothering her like he was known to do when they both had been at ringside.

Randy had to rely on his quickness in this match since Akeem was so much bigger than him. The match went back and forth and the concern on Elizabeth's face was evident when Randy took a couple of beatings from Akeem, but she kept up her cheers for Randy so he was able to come back several times.

The match ended in a disqualification for Akeem since he ended up shoving the referee, but it was still a victory for Randy and Elizabeth. In celebration Elizabeth was placed on Randy's shoulder like the fans always expected. The celebration also had fireworks going off in honor of The First Lady of Wrestling and her champion!
