At the end of 1988 Elizabeth and Randy were still at the top of the wrestling world thanks to Randy still being the WWF Champion. He had taken on all challengers to his WWF Championship, well except for one....Bad News Brown.

On this addition of The Brother Love Show, Elizabeth and Randy were Brother Love's guests. They were questioned by Brother Love on accusations that Bad News Brown made to WWF President Jack Tunney the week before about protecting Randy Savage's championship and Elizabeth doing favors for him. Brother Love asked Randy if he was being protected by Jack Tunney on who he defended the title against meaning Tunney was hand picking Randy's opponents. Randy denied the claims. Then Brother Love questioned Elizabeth if she was doing favors for President Jack Tunney like Bad News claimed. Before Elizabeth could answer though, Randy became furious and grabbed Brother Love and made him leave his set. He challenged Bad News Brown to a match and claimed that he would pay for what was said about him and Elizabeth.
