On Saturday Night's Main Event Macho Man Randy Savage battled Jake "The Snake" Roberts in the final match of their bitter feud. After Jake slapped Elizabeth at Tuesday in Texas, Randy vowed revenge against Roberts. On this episode of Main Event, Savage finally got his revenge. After the match Randy continued his assault on Roberts only to be thwarted by WWF officials.

Satisfied that Jake had been properly disposed of, Randy signaled for Elizabeth. With a smile from ear to ear, Elizabeth ran down the aisle to congratulate her man. The happy couple celebrated briefly in the ring before heading back up the aisle. As the show went off the air, cameras showed Jack Roberts standing just behind the curtain with a steel chair. Jake said he had had enough and didn't care who came through the curtain first, whomever it was was going to be hit by the chair. Not suspecting anything was wrong in the backstage area, Elizabeth led her man up the aisle as always and was first through the curtain! As Jake went to swing the chair, he found himself unable to do so. He turned around to find that The Undertaker had stopped him from hitting Elizabeth! This distraction was just enough time for Randy to get Liz out of harms way, take the chair, and whack Roberts right across the back. The Undertaker looked on as Roberts writhed in pain on the concrete floor.
