At Saturday Night's Main Event, Randy Savage battled the Honky Tonk Man in one of the most memorable matches in WWE History. Just as Savage was getting the upper hand against Honky, The Hart Foundation decided to make their presence felt and quickly went to work wearing Savage down in the ring.

Once Savage was unable to defend himself, The Hart Foundation held up a prone Macho Man and held him as Honky Tonk prepared to smash a guitar over his head. Just as he was about to swing the guitar, Elizabeth dashed in front of her man to prevent the strike to Macho's head.

Stunned by what just transpired, Honky pointed his finger in Liz's face and asked her to get out of the ring. Liz, holding her ground, refused. After repeatedly warning Liz and asking her to leave, Honky had finally had enough and shoved Elizabeth down to the mat. He then proceeded to smash the guitar over Savage's head.

As the beat down of Savage continued, a humiliated Elizabeth ran to the back and finally brought Hulk Hogan down to ringside to assist Savage. This would turn out to be the catalyst for the formation of The Mega Powers.
