Perhaps one of the most shocking moments in WWE History, at "This Tuesday in Texas", Jake "The Snake" Roberts crossed the line and slapped Miss Elizabeth right across the face!

After the events that had unfolded at Randy and Elizabeth's wedding reception after SummerSlam 1991, the Macho Man was hell bent on getting revenge on his arch nemesis, Jake Roberts. The only problem was that Savage had long been forced into retirement after losing a "Loser Must Retire" match at WrestleMania VII to The Ultimate Warrior. After reuniting with Savage, Elizabeth quickly resumed her managerial duties and began to lobby WWF President Jack Tunney's office for Savage's reinstatement on the active roster. In a bit of irony, it was actually Jake Roberts himself that swayed Tunney's decision.

On an episode of WWF Superstars, Randy confronted Roberts in the ring. Roberts quickly gained the advantage on Savage by tieing him up in the ropes. Roberts then brought out a King Cobra and let the snake gnaw on Savage's arm! After seeing this horrific event, Jack Tunney had no other choice than to reinstate Savage in a match against Jake Roberts and "This Tuesday in Texas". Savage wasted no time at the event and attacked Roberts in the aisle as he was making his entrance to the ring. At the time, this was one of the most violent matches the WWF had seen with Roberts ripping at the bandaged arm of Savage and Savage doing whatever he could get away with to Roberts. Savage was able to score a pinfall with an elbow drop after Roberts botched an attempt at the DDT. The confrontation , however, was far from over

Savage quickly went to ringside and grabbed the ring bell. The referee, while trying to take the bell from Savage, inadvertedly gave Roberts the oppurtunity to nail Savage with a DDT. As Savage got to his feet, he was met with another DDT. The referee then told Roberts to get to the backstage area immediately. Roberts complied but quickly changed his mind and went back to the ring. He reached under the apron and produced a black bag containing the cobra. Seeing this, Elizabeth dashed to the ring to cover her man. She begged and pleaded with Jake to leave them alone, but Jake was not finished. He yanked Savage up and delivered yet another DDT. Again, Elizabeth begged Roberts to stop. Jake looked Elizabeth in the eye and told her that if she wanted him to stop she better start begging. Elizabeth complied. Roberts told Liz that Randy made him sick and then grabbed Elizabeth by the hair and pulled her up off her knees. He pointed at Elizabeth and said something to her and then slapped her right across the face! Jack Tunney quickly came to ringside, forced Roberts to the back and went to check on Elizabeth. "This Tuesday in Texas", without a doubt, was probably one of the lowest points in the storied history of Randy Savage and Elizabeth.
