In one of the most bitter rivalries in WCW in 1997, Randy Savage took on Diamond Dallas Page at Halloween Havoc 1997.

Macho Man and DDP had been feuding for the better part of 1997 and this match was the culmination of their feud. It didn't take long for this match to spill out onto the floor, and eventually into the crowd. It was evident by the time they got back to the ring that Randy had had enough. He grabbed a TV camera and went to smash it on DDP. Page countered, however, and the camera ended up being smashed into Randy's face. This caused both men to be knocked out in the middle of the ring.

While the referee was administering his ten count on the fallen opponents, Elizabeth snuck up from behind with a glass tray in hand. She climbed the apron and smashed the tray over the referee's head, knocking him out cold. From there, Liz quickly ran over to DDP, grabbed an extension cord from ringside and began to viciously choke DDP with it. This brought out Kimberly as she ran to ringside to help her man. She spun Elizabeth around and, as Liz was about to slap her, she grabbed two fists full of Liz's hair. Kimberly and Elizabeth proceeded to fight all the way back up the aisle with Kimberly having the upper hand the entire time.
